Now We Know Why All the Leaves Change in the Fall...
They say that the only constant thing in life is change, and we've never felt that to be more true than right now. Since our wedding this past Summer, we have had a number of small adjustments to our regular routines as well as a few really notable ones. Now with the change of seasons, it seems even more fitting that we should be making yet another significant transition.
Both of us are beyond excited about the new job opportunity that lies ahead for me and for the small window of time that I will have between jobs (during which we will be traveling)! This past weekend, we celebrated by getting new shoes and spending Saturday in Logan Square. We walked in the sunshine, drank fru fru drinks (as I like to call lattes) from New Wave Coffee, and got to enjoy being best friends. The air was brisk and crisp, but the sun was shining bright and just kept us from getting too cold.
It was the perfect Fall day.

To stay warm since it was pretty chilly and I don't really have a proper fall coat just yet, I wore a cozy, oversized grey H&M sweater with my black jeans (yes...the ones we shared previously from the once friend-zoned Old Navy ) and new suede pumps from Nine West.
Daniel wore this new camel coat from H&M (that looks darn good on him... can we all just agree on this!??) and his new Calvin Klein Boots.

One of the really fun things about snapping some pictures in Logan Square is all of the huge murals and graffiti canvasing many of the buildings and alleys. We particularly loved this one just off of Milwaukee Ave as Chicago has truly become home to us.
Over the next week and a half we will be traveling to India for a friend's wedding (with a day stop over in Dubai!) and will be sharing photos of our travels. When we return, we're both thrilled that sweater weather and all things cozy are here to stay. We can't wait for the upcoming Holiday season and it's plaid PJs, tall socks, cups of tea and copious amounts of Christmas home decor!!! We are also excited to share with you our holiday gift guide that is in the works! We know it's hard to figure out what to buy for certain family members at times and hope to provide you some unique, personal, and meaningful ideas for this Christmas!
